I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the superb wedding reception that you organized for us last Saturday. I am sure that you will well remember our initial discussions regarding how the event should be organized and our reservations at your proposed alterations to our ideas. However, we bowed to your experience and followed your ideas and suggestions. This proved to be the right thing as on the day we realized that had we gone ahead with our ideas the reception would have been a disaster!!
Everything was organized to perfection with your attention to detail being evident everywhere. All of our guests commented how nice the food was, how well presented and plentiful. The atmosphere that was created in the function room was more than we could have hoped for and your staff was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout the occasion. Several of our guests had restrictive dietary requirements and you catered for those without fuss which made the right impression with those guests. All in all we had so many compliments paid to us as to our thoughtfulness and how pleasant we had made everything that these thanks must be passed to you.
Several of our guests stayed in the hotel overnight and they all commented as to how nice the rooms were and how good the standard was at breakfast time! In summary we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Dukes Head Hotel to anyone who wished to hold a function or stay at the hotel.
Finally thank you once again for all the help and advice and for making our special day simply perfect!

Dear Jane,
Peter and I would like to thank you and your wonderful staff for making our Ruby Wedding Party so special. Anthony worked over and above the call of duty, the young ladies kept everything neat and tidy. The food was superb and there was more than enough for everyone. Everything was tastefully garnished and the cheese board looked fantastic with the grapes adding the finishing touch. All the guests that stayed overnight said that the accommodation was 4 star grading. We would like to thank Pete Teague of Citysounds and James who was DJ for the evening for playing lots of our favourite tunes and being so patient when RUMPLEDRUMSKIN were performing. The bar staff were really business-like in the way they handled the ‘bar tab’. We know this is all in a ‘day’s work’ to you but for us, you were all amazing. We hope we have forgotten anyone if we have a big THANK YOU to them too!!!!!!!!
We shall never forget our party it was really memorable for all the right reasons. We would recommend you to anyone who was looking for a fantastic venue.
